We live in the desert and every winter we get at least 1 serious cold front move through. It came through about 2 weeks ago and we had a frost, it got down to about 26 degrees at night, lasted about 3 nights. We covered the bushes and every thing survived, although we did have the prickly pear break off a little bit, it will recover and be just fine.
The dogs well what can I say SPOILED

Blueberry thinks I am her personal heater - she won't tolerate a blanket on her but she'll just get real close for snuggles.
ReplyDeleteLove these pics!
It got into the negative digits here last night --- I was tempted to get under the covers, too!

You all look very snug under your blankets and all tucked up.
