Sleepy Girl

                             Lucy, my big strong girl. She did just fine.

Lucy had a rough night. I think she might have been nauseous, but we got through it and she seems better now. It looks really good, and we expect it to heal up without any problems. I did get her a soft cone, of course she did not like it. We just tried it on for size, lucky she did not have to wear it last night, since I stayed up with her

Lucy is going in today to have a bump removed off her hip, you can kinda see it in the top picture, I didn't want to gross anybody out, with the full view. It's yucky these days, we can't seem to get it to heal up. We thought long and hard about having it taken off because Lucy is 12, but she and the other dogs won't leave it alone now and she does not like them messing with it. I'm afraid she will bite one of them. We know  Lucy can't hear and she does not see well so she kinda gets mean. She even growled at me for trying to get her up the other day. She forgave me when we got in the car for a ride.

I think this is the second time ever that we have gotten the Christmas light up Thanksgiving weekend. Last year we did not even put lights up at all.

 Our Thanksgiving weekend was great. The only thing that was missing were Tom (who now lives in Texas) and Chris (who's deployed in Afghanistan) and we missed them so much over the Thanksgiving weekend. Race & Coco

Pete and Amy went to Tucson for a bike race tour de tucson this weekend

Amy and her dad

 It was Amy's biggest road race, 111 miles. Out of 2870 that finished the 111 mile part of the race, Pete came in 2460th and Amy in 2629th place. She worked really hard to be able to race this. Way to go Amy.
 I watched Coco while they were gone. Ofie had to have a cat sitter, I'm sure you can guess why she couldn't come also.Coco was a good girl.

Amy told me Coco does not usually eat treats ( she get cheese with her meds.).......Okay Amy, sure if you say so. By Saturday morning, Coco was the first in line after breakfast to get her treats. I think Amy better take some treat home with her for Coco's new after meal routine. Hehe were teaching her our habits, good and bad.

 Once Jake goes to bed he gets grumbly. It's something he's done forever. We usually just leave him alone after he's gone to bed, just so we don't stress him out. Although he does like to be covered up. So while he's still sitting up waiting to settle, we just kinda hold the cover over him and let it fall.

 I thought I would  show you all  how big Ofie has gotten. I've never  really known a C A T before, I have always kinda been afraid of them. They can be a little sneaky. But Ofie is okay and she kinda likes  me.

Amy says she weighs 13 lbs now
