Sick

 Luckily  for us the computer still works. It was me that went down this time. You know the kinda sick where your sure it's the sickest you've ever been. It probably was not, but at the time I felt that way. Well you know who took care of me?

 Yep that's right even with his dad home, he usually won't have anything to do with me when Pete is home. Oh sure the first half hour or so he got up every couple of minutes to check to make sure his dad was still home. When he realized his dad was staying home Jake settled into a long evening slumber into taking care of me till it was time for him to go to his bed. He's a really GOOD BOY. And Lucky for me Mike was able to work from our house the next day, to help take care of the dogs, while Pete was at work.  I could not have done them on my own. Thanks Mike I am much better now thankfully.

Issues

                                  Computer issues have kept us away.

 I can do some thing on the computer, but since I crashed the last computer we had. I thought it was safer to wait for Pete to find time to back us up and remove things. We were running so SLOW. It was worth the wait. He fixed it                                                        What Good Boys they have been

Pumpkin Oat Cookies

 We don't give the dogs a lot of treats to eat. They only get a couple of the small ( I know they are big dogs) milk bones after they eat in the morning and at night. It just works best this way. This weekend I decided to try making them treats.  Pumpkin Oat Cookies We got the recipe from our friends Dave and Zim at the A04. Their mom makes these for them and they love them. Guess what? We love them too.

Girl Friends

                  Usually Jake hangs with Elvis.They do everything together.

Going through my recent pictures I noticed Jake hanging with the girls a little more

Line up

 We had one of the water bowls that had a big 3 gallon jug that would just fill the bowl as the dogs drank it. I changed that recently to a weighted 5 liter bowl, so I could control the amount of water the boys were drinking. Some times they start drinking and don't stop till I actually touch them to make them stop. It has helped Elvis us to sleep through the night a little better.

Bubble Puppy

Our grand kids love to watch a  show on Nickelodeon called Bubble Guppies. It's a learning show for preschoolers. Basically it's what ever the the theme character is a kid, puppy, cow, zoo animal,  whatever but they are in guppy form. The grand kids love this show.

 The animals on the show are usually shown with normal front legs and  the back legs are usually fins like a fish.

A First

I think this is a first. This is something that just does not happen. Betty does not play with the boys like this, they tend to get to crazy for her.They get really loud and then get really bitey and before you know they are to rough, and Betty is not into that at all.

                            It did not last very long. I'm glad I had the camera.

Company

 It's that time of year again. My sister comes every year for vacation she stays 2 weeks.

She is pretty easy to have come. All she really loves to do is float in the pool, she never seems to notice it's always above 100 degrees outside.  Last year was the first time she'd meet Jake and he kept her on her toes, especially when she was in the pool. He really wanted to swim with her. If you want to read about it you can Here, it's funny now. It taught us that we needed a lock on the pool gate, and really, we should have had one there just because it's the right thing to have.

 Jake and Betty have promised not to give Pam any trouble while she is floating in the pool this year, so long as she keeps the lock on.
