Morning

   Pete was out of town last night, and usually the boy's jump right into my schedule which means we sleep in. Not this morning they wouldn't have it, they started messing around at 3:30 AM, we were up by 6:30 and by 7:00 Jake had been in the pond and both tortoises enclosures. So I was making them stay inside. I realized they were quite and I found them sharing a cup, they love finding cups to eat. I don't know why.

 It took me a minute to wonder where they got the cup from? Since I got up so early, I forgot to get my night cup from my headboard, so maybe one could say it was my fault, but really, it is my bed. I'm not sure which boy got it,  they did share the cup. So they share the blame I say. It's not even 8 am, it's gonna be a long day I think.

Did you guess a used wooden spoon? That's what it was when Pete put it in the dishwasher. Elvis was very sneaky, and took it out while Pete was still loading the dishwasher. I heard something weird and we found Elvis and Jake sharing this in the other room.

Treats

Tom, my son moved to Austin, TX with his girlfriend Victoria and her dog Guy, a while back. They are loving it there.

    And not to long ago both Amy and Chris(from the Army) were able to go visit them

Mike, was not able to go, but he wasn't going to be forgotten, Amy, Chris, Tom

The dogs went crazy for these delicious treats 

They were so good, now we dream of mom someone else visiting Guy Tom & Victoria so we can have more of these yummy treats.

Begging

 Most know, Elvis begs and I always  most of the time give into him and his droopy eyes.

He always closes his eyes if you ask him if he's beggin

Now he has a begging partner, Abby. Oh boy is she bad. She will go and lay down, if you tell her to, but she always comes right back. She, like Elvis tries look as cute as possible to get something.

   A couple of weekends ago, it was just me and the dogs, and the boy's snuggled.  Jake just does not snuggle with me like this and Elvis will, but only if Pete is not here or if we are in my bed. We stayed like this most of the evening.

OFF

 Get off of there, that's Lucy bed. None of the dogs get in her bed, except Jake, he likes to get in and scratch woogle, his body with the mesh under the blankets. Lucy never complains when he does this.

Chair

 We got a new rocking chair, and it has changed things a bit. Pete loves sitting in it, the boys can't sit with Pete while he's sitting in it.

Moving

  No were not moving, I was just moving the furniture around, and it freaked the dogs out.

Cold

 It turned cold this weekend. It was in the 80's last week and on Sunday it was about 40 when we got up, and did not get much higher than 49. Up north, in the Flagstaff area got 10 to 14 inches of snow as of Sunday morning. Crazy, so this is what we did all day Sunday.

 Betty of course is afraid of fire in the fire place, she does not like the popping. So she spent most of the day on my bed, she would come out and check on us, but she wouldn't stay out.
